Of course. Everyone is welcome, whether you are firm in faith, just beginning to explore, or simply curious. You don’t need to know what to do — we’re glad you’re here

Your donations help us maintain the mission and ministry of this historic church, keeping the church open daily, maintain the historic building, support our music and worship, provide pastoral care, and running outreach activities in the community. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a real difference.

There are many ways to serve: welcoming visitors, helping with children’s activities, joining the choir, supporting our events, assisting with practical upkeep, and so much more. Speak to a member of the team or use our contact form to find out more.

Please get in touch with our office team via the contact page. Baptisms and weddings are a joyful part of our ministry, and funerals are a time when we offer support and care. We’ll guide you through the process and answer any questions you have.

St Giles is a Grade I listed building. Care for the church is shared between the clergy, wardens, volunteers, and the wider Diocese of St Asaph, supported by generous donations and grants. Conservation work helps ensure that this remarkable building is preserved as a place of worship and welcome for generations to come.

The big questions

We all have big questions… about life, faith, and what it all means. You don’t have to have all the answers to belong here. Our church is a place to explore, ask, and learn together.

We are part of the Church in Wales, which belongs to the worldwide Anglican family. At the heart of our belief is the good news of Jesus Christ, who reveals God’s love for all people. We gather around the Bible, prayer, and the sacraments, especially the Holy Eucharist.

A Mission Hub is a church within a Mission Area that serves not only its own congregation but also supports and resources the wider Mission Area and Diocese. At St Giles this means we are a centre for worship, music, community outreach, and training, a place that strengthens the mission of the church across Wrexham.
