Whether the service takes place in church, at the crematorium, or by the graveside, our clergy will work with you, and your Funeral Director, to shape a service that reflects the person you’re remembering and brings comfort to those who mourn.

From the moment you get in touch, our clergy and pastoral team are here to support you. We can help you plan the service, choose readings and music, and create a space where family and friends can gather in remembrance and hope.

Our care continues beyond the funeral itself, you’re always welcome to speak to us, light a candle, or join one of our remembrance services in the months and years ahead.

Planning the service

Your Funeral Director will usually contact us on your behalf to begin arrangements. Together, we’ll plan the details of the service, from hymns and prayers to tributes and moments of silence.

Every life is unique, and we will do everything we can to ensure the service feels personal and meaningful.

A Christian funeral holds space for grief while also pointing towards hope, the hope of resurrection and the promise that love is stronger than death.
