At the heart of Wrexham stands St Giles’ Church; a place of prayer, beauty and welcome for all. For centuries our tower has shaped the skyline, earning its place among the Seven Wonders of Wales. Yet St Giles is more than a landmark: it is a living church community where people of every age and background gather to worship, to celebrate, and to discover God’s love.

The Church at a Glance

St Giles is a space where history and hope meet. Step inside and you’ll discover soaring architecture, vibrant stained glass, and centuries of prayer woven into the very stones. The church has been a place of Christian witness since the Middle Ages, and today it continues to be a beating heart for the city: a centre of worship, music, and community life.

As a Mission Hub within the Diocese of St Asaph, we are proud to be not only a church within the Wrexham Mission Area, but also a resource for Wrexham and beyond; hosting concerts, welcoming schools, and opening our doors daily to thousands of visitors each year.
